Hi! I’m Jen
I’m the knitter and designer behind How Sweet the Sound Studios. I’ve been knitting for nearly 20 years, and designing for the past five. I learn something new with every single project I knit, whether it’s an original design or one I’ve purchased from another designer.
One thing I love about knitting is that every pattern, every garment is a new experience. I love discovering new yarns and imagining how they will play up in different garments. I’m a longtime gift knitter, and I will always be one, but recently I have discovered what a joy it is to knit garments that fit me well and complement my wardrobe. My friends and family influence my designs nearly as much (if not more!) than anything else.
In addition to knitting and designing, I’m currently working towards Technical Editor Certification through The Knitting Guild Association, as well as other services geared towards pattern designers.
